Halo Sales Privacy Notice
Halo Sales is operated by Halo AI Ventures Corp ("Halo", "we"). This notice covers the Halo Sales website and the desk that applicants, representatives and managers use. Halo's customer products are covered by the Halo AI Privacy Policy at haloaigroup.com/privacy.
What we collect
- Applications: your name, email, phone, city and state, current work, sales experience, the trades or industries you know, why you want to work with Halo, your availability, how you heard about us, and the time you agreed to the application acknowledgement.
- Accounts: your email address, a password (stored by our authentication provider as a one-way hash, never readable by us), and the authenticator app you enrol if you are a manager.
- Representative records: your representative number and status, and the dates of changes to them.
- Prospect records: business names and business contact details that representatives enter, with notes, stages and next steps. Representatives must only enter business contact information they have a right to use.
- Referrals: referral links (we store only a one-way hash of each link's token) and visits to them.
- Abuse prevention: when an application is submitted, a keyed one-way hash of the network address it came from, kept for at most one day and used only to limit repeated submissions. We do not store the address itself.
- Security emails: we email you when your password, email address or authenticator changes.
Why we use it
To review applications, run representative and manager accounts, track prospects and referrals, keep an audit record of who changed what, prevent abuse, and keep accounts secure. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
Supabase (database and authentication, hosted in the United States), Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (email delivery). Each processes data only to provide its service to Halo.
How long we keep it
Application, representative, prospect and audit records are kept while the Halo Sales program operates and as long as needed to settle any commission or legal obligation. Abuse-prevention hashes are deleted after one day.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your information, or to withdraw an application, write to customerservice@haloaigroup.com. Some records, such as the audit history of decisions already made, may need to be kept for legal or accounting reasons.
Changes
We will post any change to this notice on this page with its effective date.
